A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between India Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and Gurugram University in the presence of Chief Minister, Manohar Lal. While Additional Chief Secretary Industries and Commerce Devender Singh signed MOU on behalf of the State Government, Dr Sammer Sharma signed on behalf of IICA. The State Government has also signed a MOU with Hero Motor Corps. Additional Chief Secretary Industries and Commerce Devender Singh signed MOU on behalf of the State Government, Vijay Sethi signed on behalf of Hero Motor Corps. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Government Senior Secondary School Kadipur through remote. The school building has been constructed by Power Grid Corporation of India under the CSR initiative.
Speaking on this occasion, Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said that Haryana has over 6000 villages and urged the industrial and corporate houses to adopt atleast one village for development. He said that the present State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal is government with difference which has provided appropriate environment and security to the entrepreneurs in the State.
Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh thanked the Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal for constituting the CSR Advisory Board and also organizing CSR Summit in Gurugram. He said that today a large number of multinational companies have set up their offices in Gurugram.
Industries Minister Vipul Goel said that the present State Government has ensured all round development of the State during the last four years and with the setting up of CSR Advisory Board and launching the CSR Website Portal, a new chapter has been added to the development and growth of corporate sector. He said that launch of CSR Website Portal would held the entrepreneurs for easy selection and implementation of projects. Apart from choosing the projects for implementation, the entrepreneur could also give their suggestion on this website.
